The REVO Genesis Package
Final defense
By December 4, 2026

I designed this directed individual study (LIS 4905, Florida State University, August 24 – December 4, 2026) to learn the industries REVO enters (blockchain and verifiable computing, AI infrastructure, and clean-energy verification) deeply enough to design REVO properly. It’s faculty-supervised, with monthly design reviews that each open with an oral exam: I have to explain the material unaided.

The whole semester builds toward one deliverable: the REVO Genesis Package, the founding documents REVO will be built from.

Blake Christopher Curtis, founder of Project REVO
Deliverable

The Genesis Package

The five parts of the founding document set REVO will be built from.

  • V1 Developer Blueprint

The technical architecture an engineering team could build from.

  • VerdantScore & Green-Economy Blueprint

How REVO verifies clean energy, and makes it hard to fake.

  • Evidence Base

The research behind every design choice.

  • Feasibility Review & Risk Register

Every known risk, scored, with a plan.

  • Founder’s Dossier

The plan, the story and the hard questions, answered.

How It’s Judged

The package passes three tests.

  • The Engineer Test: an engineer could start building from it.
  • The Cofounder Test: a technical cofounder would understand exactly what they’re joining.
  • The Investor Test: someone could scrutinize it, and I can answer the hard questions unaided.
Curriculum

The 15-Week Plan

15 weeks in 6 units, August 24 – December 4, 2026. The gold numbers mark the open questions each week works on.

  2. Week 2 Blockchain fundamentals: how strangers’ computers agree
  3. Week 3 Cryptography for builders: fingerprints, signatures, trusted hardware

Unit 2: Verifiable Compute, REVO’s Core Technology

Weeks 4–6
  1. Week 4 Smart contracts & choosing REVO’s blockchain 1
  2. Week 5 How to prove a computer did the work 2
  3. Week 6 Designing REVO’s verification system 2

Unit 3: The Three Industries REVO Enters

Weeks 7–9

  2. Week 8 AI infrastructure & how people would use REVO 4
  3. Week 9 Clean-energy verification & how green claims get faked 5

Unit 4: The VerdantScore Design Sprint

Week 10
  1. Week 10 Verifying green energy, the open question 5

Unit 5: Economics, Governance & Law

Weeks 11–12
  1. Week 11 Incentive design: making honesty the profitable choice 6

  2. Week 14 Assembling the Genesis Package
  3. Week 15 Final defense

Design Review Schedule

  1. Kickoff with faculty supervisor
  2. Design Review 1: oral exam on consensus, hashing & signatures
  3. Design Review 2: the clean-energy verification design
  4. Design Review 3: economics, governance & the full package
  5. Final defense of the Genesis Package By December 4, 2026
Open questions

Many Open Questions. One Semester to Answer Them.

  1. Open question 1. Which blockchain should REVO use? Build on an existing network, or run its own? Weighing cost, security and independence. Week 4 Smart contracts & choosing REVO’s blockchain
  2. Open question 2. How do you prove a computer did the work, without redoing it? REVO’s verification system, designed in full. Weeks 5–6 How to prove a computer did the workDesigning REVO’s verification system
  3. Open question 3. Who else is doing this, and where can REVO be different? A close look at existing decentralized computing networks. Week 7 Decentralized computing: who’s out there
  4. Open question 4. How would a hospital or a lab actually use REVO? From a simple web portal to automated connections, and who pays for what. Week 8 AI infrastructure & how people would use REVO
  5. Open question 5. How do you verify clean energy, and stop people faking it? The design of REVO’s clean-energy score, VerdantScore. Weeks 9–10 Clean-energy verification & how green claims get fakedVerifying green energy, the open question
  6. Open question 6. How do you make honesty the profitable choice, and stay on the right side of the law? Incentives, governance and regulation. Weeks 11–12 Incentive design: making honesty the profitable choiceGovernance & regulation

Each answer becomes a chapter of the Genesis Package. I’ll defend the whole package by December 4, 2026.
